my sweet buns need some glaze

it's September 11 that's right hot cross bun day! Hot cross buns are sweet rolls, topped with a cross of sweet glaze, they were mostly restricted to beingsold on holy days of obligation, especially around Easter. But people felt thatthe hot cross buns held special powers, like protecting sailors from the horrors of the seas, or heeling they were used to heel the sick. thats a lot ofunearned power in these buns! im trying to celebrate but my sweet buns are without a glaze... without the glaze theyre just sweet buns, warm soft smooth buns that need to be glazed. i cant glaze my own buns but they need to be glazed! who will rescue my sweet buns with their sticky glaze!
